Virtual Jobs - How Do You Find One?

Searching for a real legit work at home virtual job can be quite frustrating to say the least. I know, because my search seemed like it took forever. About 4 years ago, the good old doctors informed me that I had a rare blood disorder with no signs of a cure and said my days were numbered. At the time, I worked as a satellite salesman and installer. Made really good money at it too, but the specialist said I needed to find other work due to being out in the heat here in Texas. Well bummer in deed! Mixed with the fact I was getting ill much more often, I decided to listen. My search for work at home began.

I spent 10 hours a day searching one phrase after another, and mainly found the notorious business opportunities, survey sites, and of course the sneaky scams. I bet if you have been searching for a real job working at home, you most likely came across all of that stuff too. I'm one of the older geeks that started working with computers before Windows and it was a tough nut to crack! My family and friends continually told me that if those jobs were real, everybody would want one. I read in answer forums that they were just all scams and just don't exist.

I had to find them because I felt in my gut that they were real and finding one was now a vendetta for me. So, I refined my search terms and kept on scrolling one page after another. Two months had gone by and just as I was about to throw in the towel... I found one! My excitement was soaring as I clicked to see what the company was about. Jeepers Wally they hired people to do call center work at home! I researched the company to make sure they were legit, and it was one of the top companies that handled calls for some really big major companies. I applied for a position and was contacted a couple of days later for a over the phone interview. A few more days and an email saying welcome aboard hit my inbox. I started training the next day, and started working from home a week later.

My family was still skeptical saying things like "hope you get a paycheck". I did get my paycheck two weeks later and yes id was good. Now the family and friends were totally surprised and wanted to know how they could do the same. I kept on searching for more companies and found about 50 more that were hiring now or on a seasonal basis. I figured what the heck, and applied for another company. I got hired again and for 14 bucks an hour taking inbound calls for a huge satellite TV company! Some of you probably have a "Dish" system in your home right now. Gravy job with no dress code or traveling, what a deal. Did I mention the flexible schedule with the ability to choose the hours you work?

By now you are probably asking how did I actually find these jobs. The simple answer is I used long phrases like "legit work at home virtual jobs" and "virtual jobs from home". This gave me the best results for finding the top companies. The first company I worked for was West.com where I took infomercial calls and the second was called WorkingSolutions.com where I took inbound tech support calls for home satellite service. I really hope this article helps many of you who are so desperately seeking a real income working at home.
